- This is the second air rescue that Rocky is not involved in, the first being in "Pups Save a Space Toy".
- Rubble wipes out while snowboarding with Everest and Jake, and says "I'm good" as a reference to Marshall's wipeouts.
- Skye, Marshall, Zuma, Chase, and Rocky play a version of "Simon Says" called "Ryder Says", with Skye being the leader.
- Marshall loses everytime Skye doesn't say Ryder says.
- Francois mentions that he never leaves home without cousin's Squid jerky.
- Rubble, Skye and Everest are the only pups seen at the end.
- This is the last air rescue Everest is seen in her standard gear before she gets her air rescue gear in "Pups Save a Frozen Camp Out".
- This is the first time that Skye uses her helicopter in an Air Rescue.
Errors
- While sliding into the cave, Francois holds his camera. Once inside the cave, the camera disappears.
- There are two errors in the same scene:
- When the pups are called to the Air Patroller, despite Rubble not being there, his pup-tag is still on the scene.
- Everest's pup-tag is not on the screen, even though she gets called out.
